Artificial Selection “Pretzel Dish” Game Lesson

This product includes a common core aligned lesson plan, handouts, and PowerPoint to teach students about artificial selection. Students will play the “Pretzel Dish” Game to have a hands on approach to learning about how humans influence the evolution of certain species by choosing specific traits over a number of generations. In this lesson the dog is used to demonstrate how humans have created various breeds of dogs by the process of selective breeding. The files are in pdf.
