The author Nathan Shaham, in his study in Kibbutz Beit Alpha, tells us of his childhood, his family, his adulthood and the many roles he has filled throughout his life. Nathan introduces to us his book-lined study, where the music never stops, the computer awaits new lines, and the bed is on standby for his rest ‘in between the lines’.
Nathan talks of his love for music and for the Kibbutz life, of his public activities, and the family relationships, which were the main ingredients of his literary work. Nathan Shaham talks about his writing, and the link between his father, the writer Eliezer Steinman, and his own writing. His love for music it the thread going through the film, as he plays with his quartet.
