Tammy Brown has thirty years of experience teaching multiple subject areas to ages kindergarten through adult. She graduated with honors from both Ferrum College, where she received her BA, and Virginia Tech, where she received her MA. Her vast experience includes Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center, English Instructor at Southwest Virginia Community College, Virginia Tech, and Ferrum College, GED teacher at Moneta Detention Center, Tazewell Probation and Parole, and Southwest Regional Jail. In addition, she taught an afterschool program at Moneta Elementary School and has tutored various ages privately. She is a published author, and her writing can be found in various anthologies and magazines, both print and digital. When she isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children, her dog, and two cats.
